There were 2 Kings with the same name one was killed by a sword other God smote him with an illness ... Israel and Judah both had some Kings with the same name it was common .. one belonging to Northern Israel and the other the Southern portion Judah 1 Chron & 2nd Chron focus on Southern Kingdom and 1 &2 Kings focus on the Northern Kingdoms No contradictions ... do not lose faith by unproven discrepancies.
My web site is Bibletrails.com the Rightly Divided Bible devoted to the King James Bible browse around check my Posts on main page dealing with controversial topics
It wasn’t 2 different people because it’s the same mother and it says he was a son in law, plus if there was 2 different kings then they wouldn’t have said the same parents without explaining a difference
Just ordered my copy! Very keen. You're work with Bible Numerics has given me the rock solid evidence that the inspired Word of God is the KJV. God Bless!
Told my wife I want this for Christmas!

I think Brandon has spoken about this on one of his podcasts with David Daniels. During the 'Bible trivia' towards the beginning.

Hi Alex! I do hope to make a more 'concentrated' video on this question in the future, because it gets asked quite often. But for now, as Jason said, it was addressed in a podcast with David W Daniels here: Timestamp 26:28 - https://youtu.be/W0oO8HQ1K98?si=zE5Eve5xFX265WaE&t=1588 David gives a pretty deep explanation, which is a bit hard to follow if you're not familiar with the kings of Israel/Judah at that time. But I hope it helps, at least as a starting place! I might answer it with a slightly different slant- because after comparing Kings and Chronicles, and even Ezra and Nehemiah (the counts are different ~4 out of 10 times, when you compare Ezra 2 and Nehemiah 7), I have noticed many of these types of 'number differences' between the parallel passages. It's actually way more common than people realize, but since few people read Kings and Chronicles, it rarely gets brought up. There are some examples that are so different, that it's clearly not a scribal mistake, as some people suggest. The counts are intentionally recorded differently. For example, compare these parallel passages: 1 Samuel 24:24 And the king said unto Araunah, Nay; but I will surely buy it of thee at a price: neither will I offer burnt offerings unto the LORD my God of that which doth cost me nothing. So David bought the threshingfloor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver. 1 Chronicles 21:24-35 And king David said to Ornan, Nay; but I will verily buy it for the full price: for I will not take that which is thine for the LORD, nor offer burnt offerings without cost. So David gave to Ornan for the place six hundred shekels of gold by weight. Meditate over it closely, ask for wisdom, and see what the Spirit of truth reveals unto you. Floating thought: one of the most comforting things about the numeric proofs in the KJB, is that they prove God knew all of these counting variations would exist, and he accounted for all of them.
Ordered mine while I was watching your YouTube release video. God bless you and your family brother.
Brandon, your efforts and work have been beyond a blessing to me! There have been many times I’ve been brought to tears to see the awesomeness of our Heavenly Father in the placing of His divine signature throughout His Word to know that we are holding the True and Living Word of GOD; revealed and brought to light by your work. You and Laura are on my list of people I look forward to meeting when we are so very soon caught up to be with our Lord. I inquired awhile back on the status of The Sword of GOD documentary being finished, but didn’t hear back. I guess the book is the likely reason for the delay. :) Of course, I’ve already ordered your new book! Blessings to you and your family! Mardona C
